# Pricing

Model Repositories are backed by **E2E Object Storage (EOS)**. Each model repository uses an EOS bucket, so pricing for Model Repositories is the **same as EOS Bucket (Object Storage)**. You are billed for the storage used by your model artifacts (weights, configs, etc.) under the same slab-based pricing as Object Storage.

## Storage Pricing (EOS Bucket)

**Slab-based Pricing:**

**Understanding Peak Usage:**

Peak usage refers to the **maximum amount of storage** your model repository (EOS bucket) reaches at any point during the calendar month. Your bill is calculated based on this peak value, not the average or end-of-month usage.

**Example:**
- **Day 1–10:** You store 100 GB of models
- **Day 11–20:** You upload more versions, reaching 400 GB (peak)
- **Day 21–30:** You delete old versions, bringing it down to 200 GB

**Billing:** You'll be charged for **400 GB** (the peak usage), which equals ₹1,000 (400 GB × ₹2.5).

## Frequently Asked Questions

**Q: Am I charged for data transfer?**

A: Yes. Data transfer for EOS (and thus for Model Repositories) is charged at ₹3/GB. This applies when you upload or download model files to/from the repository.

**Q: Is there a separate charge for Model Repository itself?**

A: No. Model Repositories are not charged as a separate product. You pay only for the underlying EOS bucket storage.

**Q: What if I use an existing EOS bucket for my model repository?**

A: The same EOS pricing applies. Your bucket’s peak usage (including model repository data) is billed under the same slab-based pricing.
