--- title: "Get started with your account" description: "Sign up for E2E Networks MyAccount, verify your codes, finish account setup and customer validation, and add infra credits for your first node." content_type: "get-started" product: "account" platform: "MyAccount" url: "/myaccount/account/get-started/" --- # Get started with your account Sign up for MyAccount and get your account ready for its first node. You verify your email and mobile number, add your billing details, answer one compliance question, and complete customer validation. At the end, your account is validated and has infra credits. Have these ready before you start: - An email address and a mobile number that you can receive codes on. - If you are an Indian customer: your GSTIN, or your PAN with the name and date on it, and your Aadhaar number with the mobile number linked to it. Instead of Aadhaar, you can use a Voter ID or a Driving Licence issued in 1990 or later, with a camera for a selfie. - If you are an international customer: a passport, a driving licence, or a national ID card, and a camera for a selfie. ## Sign up 1. Go to `https://myaccount.e2enetworks.com/accounts/signup`. The page is headed **Welcome to E2E Networks**. Indian and international customers use the same form. 2. Fill in the form, or click **Google** or **GitHub** above it to sign up with that login instead. 3. In **Name**, enter your full name. 4. Pick your country for the mobile number and enter the number. The country you pick makes you an Indian or an international customer until you set a billing address. The list starts on +91, which is India. 5. Enter your **Email**. 6. Enter a **Password** of 16 to 30 characters with a number, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a special character, or click **Use Suggested Password**. 7. Leave the terms and privacy policy box and **I accept the Required Consents (Essential for account creation)** ticked. Both are required. 8. Click **Create Account**. It is available once the form is valid. The **Verification** screen opens. For every choice on the form, and for Google and GitHub, see [Sign up as an Indian customer](/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-up-as-an-indian-customer/) or [Sign up as an international customer](/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-up-as-an-international-customer/). ## Verify the two codes The **Verification** screen shows the email address and the mobile number the codes went to. Each code has six digits. 1. Enter the code from the email. 2. Enter the code from the text message. 3. Click **Verify**. MyAccount shows **Your mobile number and email address have been successfully verified!**, creates your account, and opens on its dashboard. You are signed in. If a code does not arrive, see [The sign-up codes do not arrive](/myaccount/account/troubleshooting/account/#the-sign-up-codes-do-not-arrive). Sign-up also turns on two-factor authentication by text message and creates 10 backup codes for you. MyAccount asks you to download them: click **Download Codes** and keep them somewhere safe, away from your phone. A backup code is your way back in if you lose your phone. ## Answer the country question The dashboard of your new account asks you to complete your profile setup. 1. Click **Complete Setup**. **Complete Your Account Setup** opens. 2. A **Compliance** dialog asks **Is your company or its parent company registered in a country or region restricted by U.S. export laws?** It links E2E's list of restricted countries and regions, the [sanctioned country policy](https://www.e2enetworks.com/policies/sanctioned-country-policy). 3. Choose **No, not registered in a restricted country or region** if that is true, and click **Confirm**. **Billing Information** opens. You answer this question once, yourself. Nothing is read from your mobile number or address. If your company is registered in a restricted country or region, see [Answer the restricted-country question](/myaccount/account/how-to/answer-the-country-question/) for the licence letter and the review that follows. ## Fill in your billing information In **Billing Information**, you give the details that E2E, as a CERT-In compliant organisation, must collect. 1. In **Select Your Country**, choose your country, and check it before you go on: it stays with the account once customer validation is approved. Then choose the **Organisation** or **Individual** tab. 2. Enter your tax details: - An Indian customer enters a **GSTIN**. Your billing address is then filled in from the GST registry. Without a GSTIN, tick **I do not have GSTIN**, enter **PAN**, **Name on PAN card**, and **Date of Birth** or **Date of Incorporation**, and click **Validate**. - An international customer enters **Organization Name**, **VAT/TAX ID** if you have one, **Billing Address**, **City**, **State/Province**, and **Postal Code**. 3. In **Nature of Business**, describe what you will use E2E for. Choose **Work Load**, and enter your **Official Email**. An organisation also chooses **Organization Type**. 4. Agree to the terms, and click **Next**. **Account Setup**, the customer validation step, opens. For help with any field or message, see [Sign up as an Indian customer](/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-up-as-an-indian-customer/) or [Sign up as an international customer](/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-up-as-an-international-customer/). ## Complete customer validation Customer validation is the check of your identity, which CERT-In rules require. How you complete it depends on your customer type: | You are | You validate with | Have ready | | -------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ | | An Indian individual, or an organisation without a GSTIN | Aadhaar, by OTP through DigiLocker. **Try other way** offers an ID document and a selfie instead. | Your Aadhaar number and the mobile number linked to it | | An Indian organisation that gave a GSTIN | **Customer Validation**, as for an individual, or **Load Credits**: a payment of any amount through **PayNow** completes setup. | Your Aadhaar number, or a way to pay | | An international customer | A photo ID and a matching selfie through Stripe. With an Aadhaar, you can use the Indian identity check instead. | A passport, a driving licence, or a national ID card, and a camera | For Aadhaar: 1. Tick the **Terms & Agreement** box and click **Initiate**. 2. In the DigiLocker window inside the page, enter your Aadhaar number, then the OTP sent to the mobile number linked with Aadhaar. Do not refresh the page. It moves on by itself when the check is done. 3. In **Set Billing Address**, pick your Aadhaar address or **Add new address**, and click **Proceed**. For a photo ID through Stripe, click **Initiate** under **Identity Verification**. In Stripe's window, photograph your ID and take a matching selfie. When the check passes, you have full access to E2E's products and services. The welcome email arrives, and if your account is eligible, free infra credits are added at once; see [I finished sign-up and validation. Where are my free infra credits?](/myaccount/account/faq/#i-finished-sign-up-and-validation-where-are-my-free-infra-credits). The Aadhaar check and the Stripe check finish while you are on the page. An ID document and a selfie are checked after you send them, and the result comes by email. If a check fails, you can validate again as often as you need. While validation is open, you can look around MyAccount, fill in your profile and billing address, and redeem a coupon. Creating resources and projects, and raising a support ticket, open up once it is approved. If validation is stuck, write to customer-validation@e2enetworks.com or call +91-11-4117-1818. For each path in full, see [Complete customer validation (KYC)](/myaccount/account/how-to/complete-customer-validation/). If a check is refused or stays pending, see [Troubleshooting your account](/myaccount/account/troubleshooting/account/). ## Sign in next time Sign in at `https://myaccount.e2enetworks.com/accounts/login` with your **Email** and **Password**, or with **Google** or **GitHub** if you signed up that way. 1. Enter your email and password. To stay signed in for 30 days, tick **Remember me**; see [Sign in and trust a device](/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-in-and-trust-a-device/#sign-in-with-your-email-and-password) for what it does on a shared computer. 2. On **2-Factor Authentication**, enter the six-digit code sent to your mobile number and click **Validate OTP**. Without your phone, click **Try another way** and enter one of your backup codes. Every sign-in asks for this second code. To choose text message or Google Authenticator, or to change where codes go, see [Set up two-factor authentication](/myaccount/account/how-to/set-up-two-factor-authentication/) and [Change your mobile number](/myaccount/account/how-to/change-your-mobile-number/). ## Find your default project Your account starts with one project, named `default-project-` followed by a number. The project you are in shows in the header, and everything you create goes into it. For a first node, the default project is all you need. You can create more projects later; see [Create a project](/myaccount/account/how-to/create-a-project/). To invite your team, use **Identity & Access Management (IAM)** in the account menu. People who join through your invitation's activation link work under your validation. ## Add infra credits Every new account is prepaid: you buy infra credits first, and your usage is taken from them. Add enough for the node you plan to create. The plan list on the node's create screen shows each plan's price, and [How many infra credits do I need for my first node?](/myaccount/account/faq/#how-many-infra-credits-do-i-need-for-my-first-node) gives the amount a first node needs. 1. Open **PayNow**: click **Add Credits** on the dashboard, or **Make a Payment** in the account menu. 2. In **Add Required Infra Credits**, enter the number of infra credits you want, as a whole number. 3. Check the summary. On an INR account it adds GST and shows **Net Payable Amount**. 4. Click **Proceed to pay**, and pay in the payment window. INR payments go through Razorpay and USD payments through Stripe. MyAccount shows **Thank you, your payment has been done successfully.** The infra credits are added shortly after the payment, as the amount before GST, and the header shows the new balance under **Infra Credits:**. **PayNow** lists your **Last 5 Transactions**, so check there before you pay again. See [Buy infra credits](/myaccount/billing/how-to/buy-infra-credits/). You now have a validated account with infra credits, ready for a first node. If the node screen asks you to request access to a plan, see [You have limited access to all the services](/myaccount/account/troubleshooting/account/#you-have-limited-access-to-all-the-services). To be invoiced after you use E2E instead, see [How do I switch from prepaid to postpaid?](/myaccount/account/faq/#how-do-i-switch-from-prepaid-to-postpaid). ## What to do next - [Get started with Node](/myaccount/node/get-started/): create your first node and connect to it over SSH. - [Create a project](/myaccount/account/how-to/create-a-project/): keep resources for different work apart. - [Set up AutoPay](/myaccount/billing/how-to/set-up-autopay/): add a card or an e-mandate, so infra credits are bought automatically. - [Raise a support ticket](/myaccount/account/how-to/raise-a-support-ticket/): get help from E2E support. - [Troubleshooting your account](/myaccount/account/troubleshooting/account/) and [Account FAQ](/myaccount/account/faq/): fixes for common problems, and short answers.
