Use it when you have forgotten your password, when MyAccount asks for a new one at sign-in, or when you want to change it. A login made with Google or GitHub can use the same steps to set a password for the first time. ## Before you begin You need: - Access to the inbox of your registered MyAccount email. - A new password of 16 to 30 characters, with a number, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a special character. It must differ from your recent passwords. ## Ask for the reset link 1. On the sign-in page, `https://myaccount.e2enetworks.com/accounts/login`, click **Forgot password?**. **Password Reset** opens. 2. In **Email**, enter the email address of your MyAccount login. 3. Click **Reset Password**. MyAccount confirms that the reset link was sent, and tells you to check your spam or promotions folder if it is not in your inbox. If the email is not registered, MyAccount reads **Email you specified is not present in our records**. Check it for a typing mistake, or try the other email addresses you use. If the email does not arrive, check your spam and promotions folders first. Asking again while the first link is still valid sends the same link, so any of the emails works. ## Set the new password 1. Open the email and click the reset link. **Change Password** opens. 2. In **Password**, enter your new password. 3. In **Confirm Password**, enter it again. 4. Click **Reset Password**. MyAccount confirms the password change and lets you sign in. Your other sessions are signed out, including devices where you were signed in with **Remember me**. Sign in with the new password; see [Sign in and trust a device](/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-in-and-trust-a-device/). If MyAccount refuses the new password or the link, it shows one of these messages: - **Password and Confirm Password must be match.** The two entries differ. Type them again. - **Password you entered already in use. Please enter new password.** Choose a password you have not used recently. - **The password reset link is invalid**, most likely because it has already been used. Ask for a new link. - **The password reset link is expired. Please request a new password reset.** Ask for a new link. ## Change your password while signed in 1. Go to **Settings** > **Security** > **Password**. 2. Pass the robot check, and click **Change Password**. Without the robot check, the screen reads **Required**. E2E emails you the same reset link. 3. Open the email and set the new password, as in [Set the new password](#set-the-new-password). ## When MyAccount asks for a new password A password expires after a set time. At your next sign-in after that, **Reset Password** asks for a new one before MyAccount opens. Enter a password you have not used recently, with the same rule of 16 to 30 characters. If the reset email still does not arrive after you have checked your spam folder, write to cloud-platform@e2enetworks.com or call +91-11-4117-1818, with your registered email address.
