--- title: "Sign in and trust a device" description: "Sign in to MyAccount with a password, Google, GitHub, or SSO, enter your two-factor code, and stay signed in for 30 days on a device you trust." content_type: "how-to" product: "account" platform: "MyAccount" url: "/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-in-and-trust-a-device/" topic: ["account-security"] --- # Sign in and trust a device Sign in to MyAccount with your email and password, or with Google, GitHub, or your organisation's single sign-on (SSO). After your password, MyAccount asks for a second code, because two-factor authentication is always on. On your own device, you can stay signed in for 30 days. ## Before you begin Have these ready: - Your MyAccount email and password, or the Google, GitHub, or SSO account you signed up with. - The phone with your registered mobile number, or your authenticator app, for the second code. If you have neither, keep one of your backup codes at hand. ## Sign in with your email and password 1. Open `https://myaccount.e2enetworks.com/accounts/login`. The page is headed **Welcome back**. 2. Enter your **Email** and **Password**. 3. Choose whether to tick **Remember me**: - Ticked, you stay signed in on this device for 30 days, or until you log out. - Unticked, you are signed out after 24 hours without activity. Tick it on your own device. Leave it unticked on a shared or public computer. Either way, you still enter your second code on every sign-in; **Remember me** does not skip it. 4. Click **Sign in**. The **2-Factor Authentication** screen opens. A sign-in check runs in the background. If it is unsure, an **I'm not a robot** box appears; tick it and follow its prompt. A failed check reads **Recaptcha validation failed. Please try again.** Try again, and tick the box when it appears. ## Enter your second code The **2-Factor Authentication** screen shows **SMS code sent on** your mobile number, with part of the number hidden, and six boxes. 1. Enter the six-digit code from the text message. 2. Click **Validate OTP**. MyAccount signs you in and opens your dashboard. If the text message does not arrive: - **Resend SMS** becomes available after 60 seconds. - For a +91 number, **Receive OTP over call** appears after you have resent the code once. A phone call reads the code to you. - To use a backup code instead, click **Try another way**. The screen reads **Enter one of your backup codes.** Enter one, and click **Validate Code**. Each backup code works once. If you use Google Authenticator, the screen asks for the six-digit code from the app instead. Enter it to sign in. To use a backup code, click **Try Another Way?**. Too many wrong codes pause sign-in for a while, and MyAccount says **You have exceeded the maximum number of attempts** until it unlocks again. Wait, then try again with a new code. The text message code goes to the mobile number on your profile; to send codes to a new number, change it first; see [Change your mobile number](/myaccount/account/how-to/change-your-mobile-number/). To switch to Google Authenticator, or to see your backup codes, see [Set up two-factor authentication](/myaccount/account/how-to/set-up-two-factor-authentication/). ## Sign in with Google or GitHub 1. On the sign-in page, click **Google** or **GitHub**. 2. Sign in to your Google or GitHub account on its own page, if it asks. 3. Enter your second code on **2-Factor Authentication**; see [Enter your second code](#enter-your-second-code). 4. MyAccount signs you in and asks **Trust this device**. 5. Choose: - **Trust this device** to stay signed in on this device for 30 days. Take it on your own device. - **No** to be logged out automatically after 24 hours. Take it on a shared or public computer. A Google or GitHub login has no MyAccount password of its own. To set one, use **Forgot password?** on the sign-in page; see [Reset your password](/myaccount/account/how-to/reset-your-password/). ## Sign in with SSO If your organisation signs in to MyAccount through its own identity provider, click **Sign in with SSO** and enter your **Organization ID**, which is in your SSO invitation email (see [Where do I find my Organization ID?](/myaccount/account/faq/#where-do-i-find-my-organization-id)). Your organisation's sign-in page opens. Sign in there with your organisation's account, then enter your second code on **2-Factor Authentication** and choose **Trust this device**, as with Google or GitHub. ## Sign out of other devices MyAccount keeps no list of trusted devices. To end every session you have on other devices, for example after signing in on a computer that is not yours: 1. Go to **Settings** > **Security**. 2. Under **MyAccount logged in sessions**, click **Log out from all sessions**. 3. In **Log out of all sessions.**, click **Log out**. Every session except the one you are using is signed out, including devices you trusted or signed in to with **Remember me**. ## If you cannot sign in - **Email id does not exist.** No MyAccount login uses this email. Check it for a typing mistake, or sign up; see [Sign up as an Indian customer](/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-up-as-an-indian-customer/) or [Sign up as an international customer](/myaccount/account/how-to/sign-up-as-an-international-customer/). - A wrong password: each wrong try says how many tries you have left. Too many wrong passwords lock the account for 30 minutes, and E2E emails you about it. Wait 30 minutes and try again. If you have forgotten the password, see [Reset your password](/myaccount/account/how-to/reset-your-password/). - **Your account is disabled**: contact support at cloud-platform@e2enetworks.com. - No phone, no authenticator app, and no backup code: only E2E support can let you back in. Write to cloud-platform@e2enetworks.com or call +91-11-4117-1818. When you sign in from a new IP address, E2E sends you a **NEW LOGIN DETECTED** email with the IP address, the device, and the time. If it was not you, reset your password and sign out of other devices. To change how you get your second code, see [Set up two-factor authentication](/myaccount/account/how-to/set-up-two-factor-authentication/).
