No. AI Labs is available in the Delhi region, so it appears in Delhi projects only. See [Create an organization](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/create-an-organization/). ### Who can create an organization? An Admin. See [Create an organization](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/create-an-organization/). ### What is the difference between an hourly and a committed organization? An hourly organization is billed for the hours it runs, and you can stop it. A committed organization is for long, fixed-length use at a discounted price, and it cannot be stopped until the period ends. See [Create an organization](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/create-an-organization/). ### Can I move an hourly organization to a committed plan? Yes. Use **Convert to Committed** and choose a renewal policy. See [Convert an organization to a committed plan](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-ai-labs-as-an-admin/#convert-an-organization-to-a-committed-plan). ### What happens to an organization when its committed period ends? It follows the renewal policy you chose. **Auto-Renew** renews it, **Auto-Hourly** moves it to an hourly plan, and **Auto-Delete** deletes it. See [Convert an organization to a committed plan](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-ai-labs-as-an-admin/#convert-an-organization-to-a-committed-plan). ### What happens when I delete an organization? All its data and resources are removed permanently. See [Delete an organization](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-ai-labs-as-an-admin/#delete-an-organization). ## Stopping and billing ### Can I stop a committed organization? No. Stop and start are for hourly organizations. A committed organization keeps running until its commitment period ends. See [Run an AI Labs organization](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-ai-labs-as-an-admin/#stop-or-start-an-organization-or-free-up-its-resources). ### Does billing stop when I stop an organization? Yes. Billing for the organization ends while it is stopped and resumes when you start it. **Free up resources** leaves the organization active. After you use it, datasets for courses, modules, and courseware, and datasets that learners created, keep billing. See [Run an AI Labs organization](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-ai-labs-as-an-admin/#stop-or-start-an-organization-or-free-up-its-resources). ### What happens to learners when I stop the organization? Their instances and endpoints stop. Learners can start new ones again once you start the organization, and they can create datasets in the meantime. See [Run an AI Labs organization](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-ai-labs-as-an-admin/#stop-or-start-an-organization-or-free-up-its-resources). ### How do I stop all compute without stopping the organization? Use **Free up resources**. It stops every instance and inference service and leaves the organization active. See [Run an AI Labs organization](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-ai-labs-as-an-admin/#free-up-resources). ## Groups and members ### Can I invite several learners at once? Yes. You can invite one address at a time, or many at once by uploading a CSV file. See [Add and manage members](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-groups-and-members/#add-a-member). ### Which group does a learner join if I do not choose one? The **Default** group. It gives access to every AI Labs service and to the plans with 5 GB of GPU memory, one instance per plan. See [Create and manage groups](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-groups-and-members/#create-a-group). ### Can I delete the Default group? No. The **Default** group stays in every organization. See [Create and manage groups](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-groups-and-members/#create-a-group). ### How do I limit how many instances a learner runs? Set **Max Instances per Student** for each plan in the learner's group. See [Create and manage groups](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-groups-and-members/#create-a-group). ### What happens to a member's resources when I remove the member? The member's instances, endpoints, model repositories, integrations, and datasets are deleted. This applies to every learner, so ask your learners to save their work first. See [Add and manage members](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/manage-groups-and-members/#add-a-member). ## Courses and learners ### Can a learner upload files to a course? No. A learner can view and download course material. Admins and Professors manage it. See [View your courses and course material](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/use-ai-labs-as-a-learner/#view-your-courses-and-course-material). ### Why is a course missing for a learner? Only learners added to a course can open it. See [Add learners to a course](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/create-a-course/#add-learners). ### Can a learner see other learners' instances? No. A learner sees only the resources they created. See [Roles in AI Labs](/tir/ai-labs/#roles). ### Can I use my own image for an instance? No. AI Labs instances use ready-made images. See [Launch an instance](/tir/ai-labs/how-to/use-ai-labs-as-a-learner/#launch-an-instance).
