In the side menu, under **PLATFORM SERVICES**, select **Alert Management**. Each alert is listed with its resource type, severity, metric, operator, threshold, and **Group**, the number of monitoring integrations it uses. Its **Status** is **Attached** when it is attached to at least one resource, and a dash otherwise. Select an alert's name to open **Alert Details**. It gives the resource type, metric type, operator, threshold, location, and number of integrations, then states the rule as a sentence, such as "When on is , then trigger a alert." Below it are the attached integrations with their members. ## Update an alert 1. In **Actions**, select **Update alert**. 2. Change what you need: the name, the monitoring integrations, the alert trigger type, the severity, the operator, or the threshold. **Service for alert** stays as it was. To use another service, create a new alert and delete this one. 3. Select **Update**. A change to the trigger type, severity, operator, or threshold reaches the resources the alert is attached to a short while after you save. ## Delete an alert Deleting an alert removes it and detaches it from every resource it was attached to, and TIR stops sending notifications for it. To stop an alert on one resource only, [detach it](/tir/alerts/how-to/attach-an-alert-to-a-resource/#detach-an-alert) from that resource instead. 1. In **Actions**, select **Delete alert**. 2. Tick **I understand and want to delete this alert.** 3. Select **Delete**.
