--- title: "Schedule a run" description: "Repeat a TIR pipeline run every hour or every day by turning on Enable Scheduled Run when you create the run." content_type: "how-to" product: "pipelines" platform: "TIR" url: "/tir/pipelines/how-to/schedule-a-run/" topic: ["schedule"] relationships: {"requires":["/tir/pipelines/how-to/create-a-run/"]} --- # Schedule a run Repeat a run every hour or every day until an end time you choose. You set up the schedule on the create-run form: fill in the form as described in [Create a run](/tir/pipelines/how-to/create-a-run/), then add the schedule. ## Turn on the schedule 1. Under **Schedule Run**, turn on **Enable Scheduled Run**. 2. In **Start Time**, pick a future date and time for the first run. 3. In **Select Period**, choose **Hourly** or **Daily**. **Daily** repeats every 24 hours. For **Hourly**, enter the number of hours in **Hours**, from 1 to 24. 4. In **Select End Option**, choose **On specific date** and pick an **End Time** at or after the start. The other choice, **Never**, keeps the form's default end time: 23:55 on the day after you opened the form. The schedule stops starting runs then. 5. Select **Create Run**. A scheduled run depends on free resources, so it can start later than its start time while resources are busy. Each run the schedule starts is billed on its own, from its own duration and the plan you chose. The schedule is on the pipeline's **Scheduled Jobs** tab, where **End** is the date it stops. To turn it on or off, see what it started, or delete it, see [Manage scheduled runs](/tir/pipelines/how-to/manage-scheduled-runs/).
