You do all three on the **General** tab of **Project Settings**. ## Before you begin - To change the name or description, you need to be the Owner, an Admin, a Project Manager, or a Project Lead. - To delete the project, you need to be the Owner, an Admin, or a Project Manager. ## Change the name or description 1. In the project, select **Project Settings** in the side menu. The **General** tab opens. 2. Edit **Project Name** or **Description**. A name can have up to 50 characters. 3. Select **Update**. ## Delete a project Deleting a project permanently removes all its resources across all regions, including compute nodes, datasets, fine-tuning jobs, and inference deployments, and its members lose access. The delete is permanent, so copy anything you need before you start. 1. On the **General** tab, select **Delete Project**. 2. Tick the checkbox that confirms you want to delete the project. 3. Select **Delete**. To start new work after the delete, [create a project](/tir/projects/how-to/create-a-project/). If **Delete Project** is missing or a name is refused, see [Troubleshooting projects](/tir/projects/troubleshooting/projects/).
