# View resource usage and activity

See what a project's resources have used and cost on the **Resource Usage** tab, and what was done on the
**Activity Timeline** tab. Both are in **Project Settings**.

## Before you begin

Open the project and select **Project Settings** in the side menu.

## View resource usage

1. Open the **Resource Usage** tab.
2. In **Resource Name**, choose the kind of resource, such as **Notebook**, **Endpoint Service**, **Disk
   Dataset**, **Vector Database**, or **Reserve IP**.
3. In **Interval**, choose **Last hour**, **Last 24 hours**, **Last 7 days**, **Current Month**, or
   **Previous Month**. For another range, choose **Custom** and set **From** and **To**.

The table lists each resource of that kind with its usage and its cost for the interval. To see usage and

## View the activity timeline

1. Open the **Activity Timeline** tab.
2. In **Service**, choose a service, or leave **ALL SERVICES**.
3. In **Interval**, choose **Current month**, **Previous month**, or **6 months**. For another range, choose
   **Custom** and set **Start Date** and **End Date**.

Each entry is an action taken in the project, with its status: **Success**, **Failed**, or **Unknown**. For
