Requests from your applications, scripts, and services use a different credential, [Personal Access Tokens](/tir/personal-access-tokens/). ## Where to find them Open the account menu at the top right of the portal, the button that shows your name and email, and select **SSH Keys**. In the settings area, **SSH Keys** is also in the left menu under **Access & security**, with **Identity & Access Management (IAM)** and **Audit Logs**. Your SSH keys belong to you, so the same keys show in every project. ## What you can do - [Generate a key pair on your computer](/tir/ssh-keys/how-to/generate-an-ssh-key-pair-on-your-computer/), then [add the public key](/tir/ssh-keys/how-to/add-an-ssh-key/). - [Create a key in the browser](/tir/ssh-keys/how-to/create-an-ssh-key-in-the-browser/) if you prefer it to `ssh-keygen`. - [Sync SSH keys](/tir/ssh-keys/how-to/sync-ssh-keys-from-myaccount/) you already keep in MyAccount. - [Connect with an SSH key](/tir/ssh-keys/how-to/connect-with-an-ssh-key/) to an instance or a training cluster. - [Delete an SSH key](/tir/ssh-keys/how-to/delete-an-ssh-key/) you have retired. [How SSH keys work](/tir/ssh-keys/concepts/how-ssh-keys-work/) explains the key pair and how to keep your private key safe. ## Where to start [Get started with SSH Key Management](/tir/ssh-keys/get-started/) adds your first key in a few minutes. The [SSH Key Management FAQ](/tir/ssh-keys/faq/) has short answers, and [Troubleshooting SSH Key Management](/tir/ssh-keys/troubleshooting/ssh-keys/) explains each message TIR shows when it refuses a key.
