You see each plan's price per hour, in your account's currency, before you create it. For prices, see [E2E's pricing page](https://www.e2enetworks.com/pricing). ## How the charge is worked out A Load Balancer on an hourly plan is billed while it is **Running**. The charge is the hours of use times the number of instances times the plan's hourly rate. The number of instances follows the **High availability** setting. Usage is counted from the start minute to the end minute, and both are rounded up to the next whole minute. A Load Balancer that fails to be created is free of charge, and deleting a Load Balancer ends its hourly billing. ## What a plan change does to the charge When you change the plan or **High availability**, billing moves to the new rate from that moment. See [Change the plan](/tir/tir-load-balancer/how-to/change-the-plan/). Before you create a Load Balancer, read about the plans in [How a load balancer works](/tir/tir-load-balancer/concepts/how-a-load-balancer-works/#plans-and-capacity).
