Reserve IP

Reserved IP allows users to reserve a static IP address that remains exclusively assigned to their account. This IP can be attached to any supported instance or service within their infrastructure. It is useful for scenarios requiring a fixed endpoint such as external access, DNS configuration, or failover. The Reserved IP remains allocated until explicitly released.


How to Create a Reserved IP?

  1. Navigate to the Reserve IP section from the sidebar.
  2. Click RESERVE NEW IP.
  3. Select the checkbox and click Proceed.
  4. The Reserved IP will be created and listed.

How to Attach a Reserved IP?

  1. Go to the Reserve IP section.
  2. Select the Reserved IP.
  3. Choose the node or instance.
  4. Click Attach IP.

How to Detach a Reserved IP?

  1. Go to the Reserve IP section.
  2. Select Detach Reserved IP from the action options.
  3. Confirm by selecting the checkbox.
  4. Click Detach.

How to Move a Reserved IP to Another Project?

  1. Open the Reserve IP section.
  2. Choose the Reserved IP.
  3. Select the option to Transfer IP.
  4. Pick the target project.
  5. Confirm the action.

How to Delete a Reserved IP?

  1. Open the Reserve IP section.
  2. Choose the Reserved IP.
  3. Select the option to Delete IP.
  4. Mark the confirmation checkbox.
  5. Click Delete.

Only Account Owner/Admin can transfer Resereve IP. The IP must be detached from all resources before transferring IP. Reserved IPs can only be moved between projects within the same account.
