Billing

Nodes

Nodes are billed based on the cost of the machine on which they are launched. The TIR platform offers a wide variety of CPU and GPU machine plans, each with its own pricing. Billing is calculated either on an hourly basis or based on committed usage, depending on the selected plan.

Note

To launch a node on a paid machine, the account must have sufficient credits to run the node for approximately 24 hours.

A limited number of free machine plans are also available. Refer to the Free-Tier Nodes section for more details.

Billing starts immediately when a node is launched or started. It stops when the node is either stopped or terminated. Nodes in a stopped state are not billed.

Free-Tier Nodes

Free-Tier Nodes are nodes that run on free machine plans provided by the platform.

Each primary account receives a fixed number of free usage hours per month. These limits differ for CPU and GPU machines:

  • GPU machines: 2 hours of free usage per month
  • CPU machines: No time limit

As long as free usage hours are available, both primary and secondary users can launch free-tier nodes.

Node Limit

At any given time, only one free-tier node per machine type (CPU and GPU) is allowed per account. This limit applies across all projects and teams associated with both primary and secondary users.

Free-tier nodes cannot be launched if:

  • The monthly free usage hours are exhausted, or
  • The node limit has already been reached

However, launching nodes on paid machines remains unrestricted.

Once the free usage limit is reached, the node behavior depends on the termination policy selected during launch:

  • The node may be automatically shut down, or
  • It may be converted into a paid instance

If the "Convert to Paid Version" option is selected, billing begins immediately after the free usage limit is exceeded.

Node Disks (PVC)

Each node includes 30 GB of default disk space.

  • This storage can be increased up to 5000 GB based on user requirements
  • The default 30 GB is provided at no cost
  • Any additional storage beyond 30 GB is billed on a per GB per month basis

Datasets

Creating a dataset results in the creation of a storage bucket in the user’s Object Store on TIR.

  • Dataset creation itself is not directly billed
  • However, the associated storage bucket is charged according to Object Storage pricing

Playground

Playground usage is billed based on the type of model:

  • LLaMA-2 and Code Llama: Charged based on the number of input and output tokens

  • Stable Diffusion: Charged based on the number of inference steps
