Delete an SFS when you have finished with it. You can delete it once it reads Available.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”Deleting an SFS deletes its disk and every file on it, along with its snapshots. It also turns backup off, which deletes its backups, and removes its snapshot schedule. To keep the files, copy them somewhere else first, for example from a node that mounts the SFS. To keep a copy as an SFS, clone it first; see Clone or upgrade an SFS.
Delete it
Section titled “Delete it”- In Scalable File System, open the SFS’s Actions menu and click Delete.
- In Confirm Delete SFS, click Delete.
Once it is deleted, the SFS leaves your list. Nodes that mounted it keep running: unmount the SFS on
each one, and remove any /etc/fstab line for it, as in
Mount an SFS. If Delete is not available, see
Troubleshooting SFS.
