Change your CDN plan

View as Markdown

Your CDN plan sets the monthly bandwidth your account pays for, for all its distributions. You choose the first plan when you first click Create CDN. To move to another plan, choose it on CDN Plan; the new plan takes effect on the first day of next calendar month.

CDN Plan appears on Manage CDN Services once your account has a CDN plan. To choose the first plan, see Choose a CDN plan the first time.

To pick the right plan, compare your monthly bandwidth with the plans. See View bandwidth usage and monitoring, and E2E’s pricing page for prices.

In MyAccount, under Network, click CDN. On Manage CDN Services, click CDN Plan. CDN Plan opens, with Current active plan, Effective from, and Plan description.

  1. On CDN Plan, in Choose a new plan, pick the plan.
  2. Check I understand and want to change CDN plan.
  3. Click Save and Apply.

The new plan takes effect on the first day of next calendar month. A plan cannot be changed in the month it takes effect. Choosing the plan you already have is refused with Cannot update same plan id.

Choose a new plan lists the plans you can move to; the CDN plan itself stays in place, with no option to cancel it.

Open CDN Plan again. While the change waits, it reads “You have already opted for <plan> plan and which will be effective from <date> (IST)”, with your new plan and the date it starts. To pick a different plan before that date, choose again: the new choice replaces the waiting change.

Your account moves to the new plan on the date shown. For how plans are billed, see How is CDN billed?. For help with any message, see Troubleshooting CDN.
