A parameter group holds engine configuration values for one engine and version, such as MySQL-8.0. Attach it to a DBaaS instance, and the primary runs with those values; after you edit the values, sync the group to apply the changes; syncing restarts each DBaaS instance it is attached to. Parameter groups are under Database > Parameter Group in MyAccount.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Create and edit a parameter group for an engine and version, set its values, and sync them to your DBaaS instances.
- Attach a parameter group to a DBaaS instance to apply its values to the primary of that DBaaS instance.
- Move a parameter group to another project in the same account, to attach it to DBaaS instances there.
For the settings you are most likely to change, such as the connection limit, the time zone, and memory, see Common parameter group settings.
