A snapshot is a fast copy of a TIR Virtual Machine’s disk, taken at one moment. Take one before a risky change, or on a schedule, and you can put the VM’s disk back to that moment, or launch a new VM that starts with it.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”In TIR, open your project. In the side menu, under Storage, select Snapshots to see every snapshot in the project. To see the snapshots of one VM, open that VM and select its Snapshots tab.
What you can do

Where to start
Section titled “Where to start”Start with Get started with TIR Snapshots, which takes a snapshot of a VM and starts a second VM from it. The TIR Snapshots FAQ answers common questions, and Troubleshooting TIR Snapshots helps with each message and each greyed-out action.
