Request a higher disk size limit

View as Markdown

Ask E2E to raise your disk size limit when a disk has reached it. The limit caps the size of each single disk.

  • Permission to update datasets in the project. A Member gets it through a policy that allows updating datasets.
  • A disk that has reached your disk size limit. The limit is 15,000 GB unless E2E has set a different one for you. Until the disk reaches it, resize the disk as usual.
  • The limit you want, in whole GB.
  1. In Block Storage (Disk Dataset), select the disk’s row, then open the Resize Disk tab. At the limit, TIR offers to send a request to E2E’s team for more storage.
  2. Select Request.
  3. Enter the limit you want, in whole GB. It must be above your current limit.
  4. Select Request.

The request goes to E2E, which reviews it.

After E2E raises the limit, increase the disk’s size. For help with a message, see Troubleshooting TIR Block Storage.
