Billing

Training Cluster uses a fixed-rate billing model — you are charged based on your selected cluster plan per hour, regardless of how much of the cluster's GPU, CPU, or RAM resources are actively being used. All Slurm jobs running on the cluster are included at no additional compute charge.

1. How Billing Works

EventBilling Status
Cluster is createdBilling starts at the cluster plan rate
Jobs are submitted on the clusterNo additional compute charge
Nodes are runningNo change in billing
Jobs complete or failNo change in billing
Cluster is terminatedBilling stops permanently
info

There is no way to pause billing for a cluster without terminating it entirely.

2. Plan-Based Pricing

Your cluster cost is determined by the plan selected at creation time. Each plan specifies:

  • Number of Nodes
  • GPU type and count per node
  • GPU Memory per node
  • CPU cores per node
  • RAM per node
  • Hourly rate

Example

Cluster Plan : 2 Nodes × H100 80GB × 8 GPUs × 200 CPUs × 1.8 TB RAM
Hourly Rate : ₹X/hr (per cluster plan)
Daily Cost : ₹X × 24

Use the E2E Pricing Calculator to compare plans and estimate costs.

3. What Is Included

The following do not incur additional compute charges on a running cluster:

ActivityAdditional Charge
Slurm jobs (any framework)None
Multiple concurrent jobsNone
Node restartsNone
Cluster clonesNone

4. Storage Billing

Storage volumes attached to the cluster are billed independently.

ResourceBilled Independently
Shared File System (SFS)Yes
Parallel File System (PFS)Yes
DatasetsYes
info

Storage charges continue to accrue even after the cluster is terminated. Delete unused storage resources to avoid unexpected charges.

5. What Is Not Billed

ActionDetails
Submitting or cloning jobsNo per-job creation charge
SSH key managementAdding or updating SSH keys is free
Security GroupsCreating and attaching security groups incurs no charge
Reserved IPsAttaching Reserved IPs to the cluster is free
