Delete a pipeline or a version

View as Markdown

Remove a pipeline, or one of its versions, once you are done with it. Deleting a pipeline or a version also deletes its runs, and the delete is permanent. You need delete permission on the pipeline service.

Copy anything you want to keep, such as a version’s YAML from its Yaml tab and the logs of runs you will need. Runs that are still running are terminated.

The delete dialog acts on the pipeline whose row is selected, which is the first pipeline in the list until you select another. The trash icon acts on that selected row, so select the row first.

  1. In Manage Pipelines, select the pipeline’s row, so that its tabs show below the list.
  2. Select the trash icon in the row’s Actions column.
  3. The dialog names the pipeline and warns that the delete removes its versions and runs too. Check that the name is the one you mean, then tick “I understand and want to delete pipeline” followed by the name.
  4. Select Delete.
  1. Select the pipeline, then the Pipeline Versions tab.
  2. Select the trash icon in the version’s Actions column.
  3. The dialog names the version. Select Delete.

TIR terminates and deletes every run of that version, then removes the version. The pipeline and its other versions stay.
