Delete a VPC

Delete a VPC you have finished with. Deleting removes the network and releases its address range, and it is permanent.

Before you begin

You need a role with Delete permission on VPCs. Detach the VPC from every VM first, as Attach a VPC to a VM shows. Delete becomes available once the VPC is free. To change only the name, rename the VPC instead.

Delete the VPC

1. In TIR, open your project. In the side menu, under PLATFORM SERVICES, select Networking, then VPC.
2. In the VPC’s row, open the Actions menu and select Delete.
3. In Delete VPC, tick “I understand and want to delete the VPC” with the name shown.
4. Select Delete VPC.
