Keep the details on your invoices up to date: your name, GSTIN or VAT ID, PAN, and billing address. Billing Profile also holds your profile’s change history, nominations, and your virtual bank account.

You need to be the account owner to open Billing Profile.

  1. In TIR, open the account menu at the top right and select Billing & Usage.
  2. In the settings menu on the left, select Billing Profile.

You can also select Manage billing details on Overview.

On Basic Details, your CRN Number, email, phone, and sign-up time cannot be changed. To change your name, edit First Name (3 to 30 letters) and Last Name (up to 50 letters) under Personal details, then select Save Changes.

Open Billing Details.

For an account in India:

  1. In GSTIN, enter your GSTIN. If you do not have one, tick I do not have GSTIN. and enter your PAN.
  2. When the GSTIN is valid, TIR fills in your legal or trade name, PAN, state, and billing address from your GST registration, and marks them Read-only. If your legal name and trade name differ, choose one under Bill under.
  3. Fill in the other details, such as Organization Type and Official Email.
  4. Select Save billing details.

If the GSTIN is invalid, TIR shows GSTIN entered by you is invalid. Check the number and enter it again. If your account has a TAN, TDS Rate shows your TDS rate.

For an account outside India, enter your VAT/TAX ID, Billing Address, City, and Postal Code, then select Save billing details.

Update History keeps every change to your billing profile, such as your organization name, PAN, and GST, and, under Billing Address Update History, every change to your billing address, each with its date.

For an account in India, Customer Validation has your Nominations and the Validation History. To change a nomination, select Nominate or Revoke in its row.

For an account billed in INR, Virtual Bank Account Details gives the Bank Name, Beneficiary Name, Virtual Bank Account Number, and IFSC Code of your account’s own virtual bank account. Use it only for payments by IMPS, NEFT, or RTGS. It does not take cheque payments.
