Scalable File System Encryption

Create Encrypted SFS​

Follow these steps to create an encrypted Scalable File System:

Step 1: Initiate SFS Creation​

Click on Create Scalable File System.

Step 2: Configure Settings​

  • Enter a name for your SFS
  • Select the desired plan
  • Select your VPC

Step 3: Enable Encryption​

Check the Enable Encryption checkbox.

Step 4: Set Passphrase (Optional)​

The Passphrase field is optional. You can leave it blank or enter a custom passphrase.

Step 5: Launch​

Click on Launch SFS to create the encrypted file system.

Verification​

Once created successfully, an encryption shield icon will appear in front of the SFS name to indicate that it is encrypted.
