Pay an invoice

View as Markdown

Pay what your postpaid account owes, and see the invoices marked Paid on your account statement. On a postpaid account, E2E invoices you at the end of each billing cycle; pay from Pay Now, or by bank transfer.

Billing > Pay Now shows Latest Bill Amount, any Advance Amount already on the account, and Current Outstanding. If TDS is enabled, Suggested TDS Deduction shows the amount to deduct; click it for the breakup by invoice.

  1. Open Billing > Pay Now.
  2. Payment Amount starts at the current outstanding amount. Change it if you want to pay a different amount.
  3. Click Proceed to pay, and complete the payment in the gateway: Razorpay on an INR account, with cards, net banking, UPI, and wallets; Stripe on a USD account, with a card.

The payment settles your unpaid invoices first. Anything left over stays on the account as an advance, and the next invoice is set against it.

The payment is the first row under Last 5 Transactions. Under Billing > Account Statement > Invoices, the invoices it covered move to Paid, or Partially Paid when the payment covered part of one. An invoice’s status can take up to three hours to change after an online payment, and the outstanding amount on Pay Now can take up to three days to settle.

For what each invoice status means, credit notes, and usage exports, see Read your account statement. To have each invoice settled automatically soon after it is issued, see Set up AutoPay. If the account has been suspended for an unpaid invoice, see Restore a suspended account.
