Read your account statement

You will know where every charge on your account came from and have the invoice, ledger, or usage report that shows it, as a PDF or CSV. The statement is at Billing > Account Statement.

The reports fill as you use products; a brand-new account has no rows yet.

The statement opens on Invoices. The tabs along the top are:

Tab What it shows Who sees it
Invoices Every invoice, with its status and a PDF download. Everyone
Recent Transactions Your online payments: date, payment mode, payment ID, status, the gateway’s message, and amount, with a status filter and a copy button for the payment ID. Everyone
Monthly Usage Details One month’s usage, one row per item, with region, rate, quantity, discount, and total. Prepaid, INR
Itemised Usage Details Item, quantity, and amount for a project over a date range. Prepaid
Cost Analysis A chart of spend by service over the previous month, six months, or twelve months, and the low balance alert. Prepaid
Usage Details One row per resource per day: rate, hours, amount, and project, before GST. Prepaid

An invoice is issued when you buy infra credits and, on a postpaid account, at the end of each billing cycle. Its status is one of:

  • Unsigned Invoice: issued, and the digitally signed copy follows within 48 hours.
  • Sent and Unpaid: issued, payment due.
  • Paid, Partially Paid, and Overdue.

Click the download icon on a row for the PDF, or Add Filter to show one status, for example every Unpaid invoice. After an online payment, the status can take up to three hours to change.

Usage Details answers “what did I run, and when”: choose a Date Range, and each row is one resource on one day, with its rate, the hours it ran, the amount, and the project. Filter by item or by project with the two filter icons, search, and download as CSV or PDF. Amounts are before GST.

Monthly Usage Details answers “what did last month cost”: choose a month under Select Month, and each row is one item with region, rate, quantity, any discount, and the total, with the same filters and downloads. New usage can take up to three hours to appear on either.

Cost Analysis charts what you spend. Under Select Service, choose All or one of Nodes, Load Balancers, Saved Image, CDP Backups, VPC, Object Storage, CDN, and Volume; under Select Period, choose Previous Month, Last 6 Months, or Last 12 Months. It is the quickest way to see which product a rising bill comes from.

Ledger is the full account of money in and money out. Under Choose Duration, pick This Month, This Quarter, This Year, Previous Year, or Custom for your own dates, and click Download PDF. New transactions reach the ledger within a few hours; a bank transfer can take up to two working days. If your billing profile has changed, for example the name or GSTIN, the ledger is split at the change, and the tab lists each period separately.

For the balance at a glance, the Billing dashboard’s Settle Payment shows the current infra credits and the current usage. To act on what you found, buy infra credits, set a low balance alert from the Cost Analysis tab, or claim a TDS refund for the withheld credits on TDS Details.
