Restore a suspended account

View as Markdown

Bring your services back after a suspension. An account is suspended when a prepaid balance has stayed negative through the reminders, or a postpaid invoice has stayed unpaid past its due date. A banner across the top of MyAccount says so.

Find what is owed. On a prepaid account, Billing > Pay Now shows the balance next to Add Required Infra Credits; a negative number is the shortfall. On a postpaid account, Current Outstanding on the same page is the amount to pay.

On a prepaid account, buy at least enough infra credits to bring the balance back to zero, as in Buy infra credits. A coupon that covers the shortfall works too; see Redeem a coupon.

On a postpaid account, pay the full outstanding amount, as in Pay an invoice, or by bank transfer.

On a prepaid account the services come back as soon as the balance is zero or above: the banner goes, the full side menu returns, and your resources are where you left them. If they are still suspended once the payment shows under Last 5 Transactions on Pay Now, contact support with your CRN and the payment’s date and amount, and E2E reactivates them.

On a postpaid account, E2E restores the services once your payment is confirmed. Services E2E set up for you by hand can also carry a reactivation charge.

Settle the amount soon. A few days after suspension, the services may be deprovisioned: their resources are deleted, and once that is done the data cannot be recovered. To make sure it does not happen again, set up AutoPay or a low balance alert.
