Buy infra credits

View as Markdown

Buy infra credits to add to your balance; the invoice for the purchase appears on your account statement. Do this when the balance will not cover the next few days, or before you take a committed plan, which is paid for its whole term at once.

Decide how many credits you want. One credit is one rupee before GST on an INR account; your current balance is on Billing > Pay Now, next to the amount field.

  1. Open Billing > Pay Now.
  2. In Add Required Infra Credits, enter the number of credits.
  3. Read the Summary. Cost of Infra credits is the amount before tax, the GST line is added on top, and Net Payable Amount is what the gateway will charge.

If TDS is enabled on your account, the summary also shows Infra credits withheld and Total Infra credits including withheld credits. You pay for the larger number. The credits you entered go on your balance; the difference is held until your Form 16A is accepted, as Claim a TDS refund explains.

(Optional) To get an invoice before you pay, for example for an approval at your company, click Proforma Invoice at the bottom of the page. It downloads as a PDF for the amount in the summary.

Click Proceed to pay. The payment gateway opens.

On an INR account the gateway is Razorpay, and you can pay by:

  • Card: Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, Indian or international.
  • Net banking at your bank.
  • UPI: enter your UPI address, scan the QR code, or open your UPI app.
  • A wallet, or EMI where your bank offers it.

A card you ask the gateway to remember is stored by Razorpay, never by E2E, and is unlocked next time with an OTP to your primary mobile number.

On a USD account the gateway is Stripe. Enter the card number, expiry, CVV, country, and postal code, and click Pay now.

The gateway confirms the payment and returns you to MyAccount. The new balance shows next to Add Required Infra Credits, and the payment is the first row under Last 5 Transactions. The invoice is under Billing > Account Statement > Invoices, first as Unsigned Invoice and then, within 48 hours, as the digitally signed copy.

To pay by NEFT, RTGS, or IMPS instead, see Pay by bank transfer. To have the account buy credits for you when the balance is low, see Set up AutoPay. If a payment fails, see Troubleshooting Billing.
