Manage Firewall
Use this section to review your firewall's current configuration, attach networks, and run actions such as reboot, reinstall, or upgrade.
Open the Firewall Detail Page
- Go to Network > Firewall.
- Click on any firewall in the list to open its detail page.
The detail page always reflects your firewall's current state — it is not a static snapshot of what you selected at creation time. If you upgrade your firewall's plan or change its billing, the detail page updates to match once the change completes.
Firewall Detail Tab
The Firewall Detail tab shows:
- Plan — the firewall's current plan name.
- OS — the FortiGate OS version running on the firewall.
- Price — for hourly-billed firewalls, the hourly rate along with its monthly equivalent, in your account currency.
- Active Committed Plan — shown instead of Price for committed firewalls: the fixed committed amount and the committed duration it covers. A firewall shows either Price or Active Committed Plan, never both.
- Other configuration fields such as VCPU, Memory, and Disk.
Other Tabs and Actions
- Network — attach or review VPCs connected to this firewall.
- Firewall Actions — Start, Power Off, Reboot, Reinstall, Upgrade Plan, Lock, Delete, and Access Console.
- Action Availability — what determines whether an action is available, disabled, or blocked.
